TTL Esports – The End of an Era

Today TTL Esports is announcing that it has closed its doors.

One of Australia’s oldest sim racing teams, TTL Esports was formed in 2006 by Greg Stewart and Ian Travis. For the last 13 years we’ve continued to be one of the leading forces in Australian sim racing, with great success in disciplines as varied as the Cadillac CTS-V series, the iRacing V8 Supercar Series and V8SCOPS, the VRS GT World Championship Series, and more recently the World of Outlaws World Championship Series.

The team has not taken the decision lightly, but with many of its key members either no longer participating at all, or steadily reducing their participation with the team and sim racing more broadly, it was decided that it was better to finish with our heads held high – with the team still competing at a World Championship level in dirt and still having 3 cars finish in the top 10 in the most recent V8SCOPS round at Monza.

We look back fondly on the great years that many of us have had with the team, and we all will continue to enjoy sim racing as the great hobby it is in one way or another. Having said that, many of our dirt drivers will be forming a new team – Slick Simsport. Please check them out if you want to follow them in the World of Outlaws Series.

We wish all of our drivers the best for the future, and finish feeling incredibly proud of being part of such a fantastic team.
