OPR takes the win in a mayhem opening round in the GT Leagues Australia Geodesic Sprint Series Australia at Interlagos

After a qualifying that left the boys content with Jordan McDonnell taking an impressive 7th position, While Dylan would take 19th and Cody Burcher in his debut race for OPR would start out of 29th.

The race, plagued with safety cars would give Dylan the advantage after pitting under the first safety car, was able to make it home the moment a second safety car came out, being the first to pit would give him the advantage to take out the win in what could only be called a stroke of luck.

Jordan would show an awesome pace all night, but unfortunately was caught up with incidents in the race, pitting under the 2nd safety car he was able to make it back to 19th place.

Cody, a newcomer to the team, made it up to the pointy end after also pitting under the first safety car, but an unfortunate incident into the T8 Hairpin would put him further back as well as being caught up in the carnage. Cody never gave up and manage to come home in 17th.

Thanks to our Sponsors Fast Karts Racing Developments and Knight Rider Designs and to the admin for putting in the hard work to run the series.

Hopefully we see more racing in the future rounds.
